Hotel Europe is a small, comfortable hotel located in the heart of the business and theatre district of Zürich. The hotel is ideally located just minutes away from the Opera, the lake and the city's finest attractions.

All 40 rooms have bath or shower, safe, satellite TV, direct dial telephone with modem, hairdryer, trouser press and wireless-LAN. A lot of rooms are equipped with air-conditioning. We also offer room service, concierge service, laundry service and dry-cleaning.

Our restaurant 'Quaglinos' with bar and boulevard-terrace features Mediterranean meals and varying seasonal dishes throughout the whole day and evening.

Directions

We are located right on the back of the Opera. The nearest train station is 'Bahnhof Stadelhofen', from where you can just walk down the 'Goethe-Strasse'. Walk on until you reach the tram stop 'Opernhaus' located in 'Seefeldstrasse'. There you cross the road and turn left. After 5 meters you turn right into 'Falkenstrasse'.
'Dufourstrasse' is on your left side, and the hotel is immediately on the right side. It takes you about 3 walking minutes to reach the hotel from the train station.

From the main train station you can take a train to 'Bahnhof Stadelhofen' or take tram number 4 or 11 until the stop 'Opernhaus'. From there, please follow the directions given above.

By car you take the highway exit 'Zürich city' and you follow the signs for 'Hauptbahnhof". At the train station you go over the bridge, you turn around at 'Central' and you take the last street on the right side called 'Sailergraben'.
From there you continue straight on. At the end of the road, you turn right into Rämistrasse. As you can not turn left into 'Uto-Quai' you have to turn right into 'Limmatquai' where you can make a u-turn. Then you go straight on into 'Uto-Quai' and turn left into the parking of the Opera. You cross the parking area, turn right and go to the exit, passing the Opera building. Going out of the parking you turn immediately left into 'Dufourstrasse', we are located just on the right side.
