   I'm putting together my itinerary for a trip to Paris and am thinking about going to Versailles, but it would take most of the day and cost a decent amount. Is it worth the expense?

   I say go for it - you won't regret it. Spending a day there is amazing, especially if the weather is good and you can run around the gardens. You can buy wine at various outdoor cafes on the premises, too, which is cool.

   Yeah, I agree it's worth the effort. Like any big deal tourist attraction it will gobble up a lot of your day and be kind of tiring, but it's a really cool place to see.

   I'll put it this way. Once I went to Versailles, all other palaces were ruined for me after that. The Hall of Mirrors spoiled my visions!
