  • although a little annoying that its not in cinque terre, its in la spezia and you must take a bus down to rio maggiore, it was still one of my favorite hostels. The place is big, nice, clean, comfortable, and with helpful staff...what else do you need!?

Property Description

On the Northwestern hills of La Spezia, aside the breathtaking coast of the Five Lands (Cinque Terre), the Hostel 'Tramonti' is situated in the ancient hamlet of Biassa. The village is situated on the verdant hills surrounding the gulf and it is the main doorway to the 'Cinque Terre' and to the several pathways crossing the hillside.

Refreshments are available - Breakfast:The breakfast start 08:00 a.m. and close 10:00 a.m., Bar, Hot and cold self-service meals, and packed meals. We have special arrangements with local 'Trattorie' (small restaurants) of the area.

In reception we have multilingual receptionists, public telephone, mountain-bike rental, information service, organized excursions and sightseeing. In our common room you can enjoy television and DVD/VHS video, table games and a library.
All parts of the hostel are wheelchair accessible including restrooms and shower facilities.

-CORSO CAVOUR IN THE VICINITY OF PIAZZA BRIN (from la spezia train station: down the stairs, pass by the road, take via MILANO, go ahead till CORSO CAVOUR ? pass by via torino, via napoli, via roma ? when you are at the corner between via milano and corso cavour turn on the right . You have the bus stop just in front of the pizzeria. 5 MINUTES BY FOOT )

- BUST STOP IN VIA GARIBALDI (outside the train station turn left and go ahead till the square with the fountain ?via paleocapa, piazza saint bon , piazza garibaldi -, then turn on the right (via garibaldi), cross at the traffic light and go 50 mt ahead till the bus stop (on the right side of the road. 7 MINUTES BY FOOT):
