  • The Oasis Backpacker's Hostal sits right on top of busy Plaza Encarnacion and is teeming with young travelers enjoying its state-of-the-art facilities including a kitchen, grill, Jacuzzi, and Internet stations. We especially loved the rooftop porch swing, the cityscape view, and the exposed-brick facade next door.

Most rooms are dorm-style with bunkbeds. 54 beds are dispersed throughout nine rooms, only one of which is a double. All rooms are en suite. Oasis throws parties three times a week.

The in-house cook makes a two-course dinner for anyone who wants free grub or a free glass of Sangria. Afterwards the hostel staff leads a group to a flamenco show, sometimes, a whacked-out bar where the house's specialty drink is called the "Blood of Jesus Christ." Other group activities include trips to the flea market and tapas bars.

Property Description

Welcome to Oasis Backpackers Hostel Sevilla!

We just moved and are now even easier to find! Just at Plaza Encarnación, right in the center of town

Seville has all the great things Madrid and Barcelona have been trying to leave behind for decades ? siestas, bullfights, tapas, flamenco ? and it is incredibly sexy and beautiful for it. A city where people are united by tapas and divided by football and where the ghosts of Spain walk the streets, be they fictional, like Don Juan and Carmen or historical, like Cervantes and Columbus.

Winding your way through the narrow streets gives you the feeling of being in a completely different universe; The crowds are welcoming and friendly, and bullfighting; a religion. Being in Seville will leave you feeling in-love and content.

Somewhere between the world's third largest cathedral and what was once the tallest building in the world, Giralda, lies your Oasis Backpackers Hostel, located smack in the cultural and historic heart of Sevilla. Whether you want to head out to the Alcazar, Casa de Pilatos, Archive of the Indies (where the historical records of the American continent are kept) or wander through the mass of palaces and parks, you are just minutes walk from everywhere you want to be.

If you want to take a break from the road and bask in the warm Andulacian sun you can relax on our rooftop terrace, which overlooks historic sevilla. If staying in isn't your thing head out to Alfalfa, famous for it's afterhours activity, which is within stumbling distance.

Our staff well versed in the art of traveling will help you fall in love with the city. Whether you are searching for the best tapas bars, the duende of Flamenco, or just want to use our windows to peer out onto the Semana Santa Procession, we can help.

With never ending hot water, high pressured showers, 9 inches of mattress heaven, clean dorms, cooking facilities, roof top terrace with swimming pool, open-air lounge and laundry service (we even fold your clothes) we'll take care of you. Whatever your looking for while travelling, Oasis Sevilla is bound to tickle the taste buds of backpackers on the hunt for something new.

We also keep you connected with free and incredibly fast ADSL internet, Wi-Fi access, Phone cards and available phone for keeping in contact with the family.

WHAT'S FREE: Breakfast, 24 hour ADSL Internet access, Coffee & Tea, Wi-Fi connection, really amazing views of the city from our roof-top terrace, kitchen and even the swimming pool, air conditioning in every room, travel information desk, tapas tour, sheets, loads of ambience and general good cheer.
