Me and my friends are planning a trip to Europe after finishing some important exams... We have destinations in mind and we're all excellent at European Languages (myself I'm fluent in French and some of my group are good at Spanish), but we'll all only be 16! I've looked around and it seems that if your not 18, hostels are the place to stay, but I just wanted to confirm, will hostels take 16 year olds?

    Help appreciated!

    Hey Rob -

I think the right answer is "probably." Age requirements can vary between countries and hostels, and most likely the worst case scenario is some hostels require you to stay in private rooms rather than in dormitories, which will cost a little more. I'd recommend planning your trip in advance and calling the places where you intend to stay.

    Have a fun trip!
