• Wombat's City Hostel boasts plenty of awards, including "cleanest hostel" in 2004, and an exceptional location. The list of amenities is extensive and sure to delight exhausted backpackers: Internet access, laundry, free linen, security lockers, common room, elevator, and WiFi are all available at the Wombat. There is also a bar where you can meet fellow travelers. No curfew.

Unfortunately, cleanliness is not always a given in many other hostels, but it is of great importance to us. Wombat´s Vienna was voted the 'cleanest hostel worldwide' in 2003 and only lost this award to Wombat´s Munich in 2004. There you are!

We are centrally located and close to the train station and public transport. All our rooms come with comfy wooden beds, private shower & toilet facilities and free lockers for your belongings. SORRY, NO KITCHEN
Unlike our hostels in Vienna, wombat´s MUNICH does not have a communal kitchen, because there are crazy laws making that almost impossible... Besides that, our landlord wouldn´t let us to have one to avoid the fire hazard. Again sorry, there´s no point to complain about that - there just won´t be a kitchen... :-(
