  • Astoria City Hostel probably isn't the prom queen of hostels, but the reasonable prices and central location on Rakoczi ut make it worth your time.

The rooms have wooden bunk beds and clean tile floors. The line-dried sheets aren't exhilerating, but they're inviting nonetheless. Front rooms usually have a view of the ut. Other perks include an Internet station and a bright, but also narrow kitchen which is spotless. The kitchen leads to a little smoking terrace facing an immense courtyard.

In 2007, the building's face was renovated and restored. Note: the Astoria's nearby private apartments also offer private rooms (from singles to six-bedded rooms).
