I awoke to the smell of jasmine and rose bloom perfumed air. It rained quite a bit last night at the Bed and Breakfast in the Sun; at least the rail was substantial for a desert dweller. The hills of Verona are a magnificent jewel to experience. I slept very comfortably for the first time in four nights. The B&B is perfectly isolated room not far from the heart of Verona. I took a very long hot shower after a decent mental debate to use the tub or the shower. As my teens and I descended on the common room we could smell the European Breakfast. Strong hot coffee with fresh milk greeted me with a fresh glass of orange juice. Crescents, rolls and magnificent cereal bread sat in a basket waiting to be eaten. There were at least three choices of jam at the table, along with some fresh curls of sparkling butter. Off to the side of the table at full attention were slices of ham, wonderful Swiss cheese, and some boiled eggs. A meal fit for kings. I am looking forward to my next trip to Verona.
