Hotel Ester, a 32-room hotel in Kazimierz, is quite possibly our favorite splurge-worthy hotel in all of Krakow. From the splashed-out, swank lobby to the finest private hotel bathrooms that we saw in Krakow, Ester is an ideal spot for those seeking some style on their weekend break.
The lobby's eclectic mishmash of styles includes a chandelier overflowing with finials, display cases of framed artwork, and marble walls.
Some of Hotel Ester's rooms balance an antique-reproduction aesthetic with a clean, modern style. In these rooms, window valences provide some 1980s grandeur, while other furnishings??specifically some demure white leather chairs?are streamlined and sleek. Yet other rooms carry out a more consistently modern style. Even in these rooms, minimalist elegance is balanced by chocolate bed frames, bedside tables, and other furnishings.
Bathrooms are inarguably fab, with alternating white and brown tiling, gray marble counter surfaces, massive tubs, and contemporary wall-mounted sinks. Hotel Ester is in the thick of the Kazimierz action, and caters to an older, European clientele.
