Kazimierz & Stradom

Located south of Stare Miasto, Kazimierz is the city’s old Jewish district. The area is both charming and historical, with winding streets and a number of synagogues that survived World War II.

Stare Miasto & Wawel

Home to most of Krakow’s tourist draws, Stare Miasto (Old Town) is jam-packed with historic buildings and churches. The Wawel Castle is a particularly popular landmark. In addition to Romanesque architecture and a stunning medieval square, the area boasts cute restaurants and cafes.

West of Stare Miasto

West of the Old Town, things get more modern and less historic. The area is home to many nice shopping opportunities, most on the lively ul. Karmelicka. The hood is still coming into its own, as is evidenced by the plethora of construction projects in progress.
