One of three RT hotels, the 59-room RT Rezydent arguably has the best location of the mini-chain: It's literally a 30-second walk from Rynek Gwny, Krakow's main market square.
From top to bottom, the RT Rezydent is a bit worse for wear. We noted some scuffed walls and scratched floors. On the plus side, it's clear from the RT record that this small chain of hotels knows how to renovate rooms. We expect to encounter a gleamingly renovated RT Rezydent on our next visit to Krakow.
Rooms are furnished in browns and oranges, with hardwood floors and cherry wood desks, wardrobes, and television stands. Like the rest of the hotel's rooms, bathrooms are dated, but do sport cute baby blue tiles with white borders, and all have showers.
And for more independent-minded travelers, the Rezydent offers a handful of apartments with kitchens.

Hotel RT Rezydent is superbly located in the city centre only 20m from the Main Square, along the historical Royal Route.
Its outside facade is a listed building and inside many of the original architectural details have been retained, whilst undergoing extensive refurbishment.
