Well-renowned in the Earls Court area, the Amsterdam Hotel London no doubt induces the image of a party atmosphere, but in actuality is very quiet and docile.
The hotel is built like an old townhouse. Guests are greeted at the entrance by a large winding staircase, and royal red carpeting. Rooms are sizeable and spacious, clean, and well-maintained. They're all equipped with big beds and snazzy new televisions. The larger rooms have elegantly lavish dressers with full-length mirrors and ornate cushions. The en-suite bathrooms have their own sense of elegance with beige-tiled flooring.
The last time we checked, the Amsterdam was in the midst of converting their lower-floor conference hall into a bar and nightclub, which could attract a bigger audience. But, overall, the Amsterdam is perfect for more mature visitors who, in the end, don't mind keeping themselves to themselves.
