• Imagine this: you walk out the front door and you're facing the side gate of a giant museum. That's how it is at Astors, which is located in a cool old townhouse facing the British Museum. How's that for an address?
  
  Large dorm rooms are old-fashioned with high ceilings, huge windows and no-frills red metal bunk beds. Double-bedded rooms offer the same type of scenery with some added privacy. The bathrooms are spic-and-span.

Please note: We are a backpacker hostel and therefore cater strictly for the 18 to 35 year old age bracket only. A passport, photo ID or drivers licence is required upon check in.

The Museum Inn has a great central location opposite the British Museum & Library and we are only a 10 min walk from Covent Garden, Oxford Street, Soho, and the West End theatre district. The best of London is at your doorstep. If you want to be close to all of the action in and around town, then we are the place for you!

We offer a free lockup service behind reception, lockers under your bed that can fit your backpack or suitcase! Please remember to bring a padlock, but in case you forget, we do have padlocks for sale. Cable TV with satellite and lounge with DVD's, internet access, cooking facilities with crockery and cutlery, hot showers day or night, and no curfew! We also have fax service, pay telephones and phone cards.

Rooms range in size from 2 to 12 beds and toilets and showers are outside the rooms on every floor.
