• Who wouldn't want to stay at a youth hostel in a 550-year-old building that's only a few steps away from St. Paul's Cathedral?
  
  Pleasant surprises and tidbits never cease to amaze the guests at the YHA London St. Paul's. For instance, did you know that the building also used to be the training ground for St. Paul's boys' choir school? Sing it, and sing loud brothers and sisters!
  
  YHA's spotless dorms live up to hostel standard with minimal decor, sinks, white beds, walls, and lockers. (Forgot your lock? Buy one at reception). If the college-like dorm style is just not your cup of tea, similarly styled double rooms are available. These rooms have a little bit more kick with wood-framed beds and colorful cotton comforters.
  
  To get more glam, you can hang out in the lobby with its high ceilings, elegant draperies, silk flowers, and an original mantle piece, or visit the TV lounge which has an historic library where books line the walls, from the floor up to the 18-foot ceilings.
  
  Each floor is named after a street in London. Will you be sleeping on Oxford Street or Carnaby Street? Whatever it may be, a night sells for less than a song.

YHA London St Pauls is a Three Star Hostel, as graded by the English Tourist Board!

The friendly reception team will welcome you to this the Former Choir boys school for St Paul's cathedral, in the centre of the Historic City of London, an area which is both safe and quieter than many other parts of the city.

Located just 100 metres from St Paul's Cathedral, this hostel is centrally located for exploring all of London's major tourist attractions and museums with discounted tickets available form the reception desk.

With plenty of public transport links nearby, it makes a practical base for sightseers and we are short walk from the River Thames with access to the Tate Modern Art Gallery and Globe Theatre via the 'Wobbly' Millenium Bridge.

All prices quoted are members prices.

Non members will be required to purchase membership at check in or pay a 3 GBP supplement (Adult) or 1.50 GBP (Child) per person per night.

Please note: YHA St Paul's is not a groups hostel. Groups of 8+ people will not be accepted.

Flying to London on Ryan Air or Easy Jet?

We are a short train ride from Gatwick and Luton Airports with trains coming to Blackfrairs which is a 5 minute walk away. From Stanstead Airport the trains arrive at Liverpool Street Station and a number 11 or 23 bus will drop you off a 1 minute walk from the hostel, with the bus ride taking about 10 minutes.

We now have Pay as You Go WiFi in our reception and lounge area.

Our accommodation ranges from some 1, 2 and 3 bedded rooms, mostly 4-8 and two 9 bedded rooms, and one 11 bedded room.

Children under 16 are not permitted in shared rooms. Families with children should contact the hostel direct to book a private family room.

The overnight price includes a Full Continental Breakfast which is a great way to start your day.

We also serve Evening Meals between 5pm and 8pm and picnic lunches can be ordered for you to take on your days out.

The hostel also has a pool table located in the lower lounge, games @ 50p

YHA London St Pauls is part of the Youth Hostel Association and Hostelling International.
