The 400-bed Centric Point Hostel, located next to Catalunya Square and Las Ramblas, is a great value for the price and location. Singles are available, and the broadband internet is free. There's also a bar (with great gazpacho!), key card access for added security, and a huge common room equipped with online computers for guest use. Centric Point offers fun organized activities like a "Tapas Tour."
The hostel is very social, yet the bedrooms are still quiet so that you can get a good night's sleep. Plus, in a city with such a high density of pickpockets, you'll appreciate Centric Point's security. Breakfast is included.
I had a really great time here. Perfect location and decently priced. The staff were also all very friendly. They charge you a euro extra each night if you pay by credit card however.. Free wireless more than makes up for it though.

This was hostel was excellent. It had a great common room. The facilites were in good condition and the breakfast which was included had a good selection.
