Minutes away from Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, Hostal Cruz-Sol rewards its guests with comfy rooms that overlook the Plaza Santa Cruz or the Calle Esparteros. Though Cruz-Sol is only a two-star hostal, it's filled with amenities that you'd be paying for at a nicer hotel.

The 17 rooms of Cruz-Sol are a bit on the smaller side, but are attractively decorated and exude cheerfulness with fun curtains and bedding, and wood furniture. Most of them have small wrought-iron balconies.
