  • Los Amigos Opera Backpackers Hostel is located in Puera del Sol, Madrid's historic center. Inside you will find a clean hostel with an easy going vibe fit for a backpacker. No curfew, but you will need to rent a towel if you're not bringing your own. Breakfast is included in your bill.

  • The Los Amigos hostel was fun and cozy, with a lot of people to meet hanging out in the common room in the evening, and a pretty much ideal location for sightseeing or night-lifing in the city. The staff sometimes seemed a little clueless (or unavailable), but nothing awful. And the lockers are right in the room with you, so no need to leave the room to get to your valuables. Overall a good stay.

Directions

From airport, trais & bus stations take undergroud (metro) up to OPERA (lines 2 & 5).
Once in Plaza de Isabel II (or Plaza de Opera) cross the square towards Burguer King. We are in Campomanes street, number 6, 4th floor. 50 meters from underground stattion.

From Puerta del Sol: walk down Arenal street to Plaza de Isabel II (Plaza de Opera) -5 min.- then same as above.
