The Basics: Central Park Hostel & Inn email this page
The best thing about Central Park Hostel and Inn can be found in its name. But despite its proximity to the world-renowned park, the Central Park Hostel also maintains a great level of cleanliness, security, affordability, and charisma.
The lobby is littered with Warhol-type images of Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. A mural of Central Park joins the ranks. Upstairs, you'll find that the shared rooms appeal to the young and international with standard bunk 'n' locker combinations. The two-person dorms afford more privacy. Central Park also offers two studios that have hardwood floors, and fresh private bathrooms. There are a few modest kitchens that have a microwave, mini-fridge, and hot plates for light cooking. A basement lounge goes better with the standard hostel fare, including a pool table, couch, and television.
Linens are provided and credits cards are OK for making reservations, but you can only use cash when you pay.
