Only a 10-minute walk away from the Chrysler and Empire State buildings, Hotel 31 dates back to the 1940s and has plenty of character and charm.

Rooms are decorated with wallpaper in either light blue stripes or a burgundy floral pattern and mahogany wainscoting on the walls matches their thick wooden doors. The antique brass locks on the hall bathrooms add to the charm. Peek through the wood-framed windows for views of Murray Hill below.
