Located right in Midtown East, the Vanderbilt YMCA is a short walk to Grand Central Terminal, Rockefeller Plaza, Radio City Music Hall, Fifth Avenue, and numerous subway stations. The Vanderbilt only offers private single and double rooms, but the price is good for New York City. Rooms are definitely on the Spartan side. Perks at the YMCA include laundry facilities, 24-hour security, air-conditioning, health club, and a swimming pool.
