If you can't get into The Base, the other Wombats City Hostel, referred to as the Lounge, is close by. Although not as close to Vienna's center as The Base, The Lounge still offers a variety of amenities, including laundry machines, internet access, security lockers, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, bike parking, and a nightclub. No curfew.
Wombat is a great hostel, you get what you pay for. Room was nice with a great bathroom, staff is nice, you get all you can eat breakfast, that is lovely, and it is just near the train station westbahnhof, if you arrive there, it really takes 2 minutes to get to the hostel (on foot :-) ).
I had a great time there, i would recommend to everyone who goes to Vienna, to stay there. :-)- Szilvia
