  • the staff were okay - not really friendly but okay. the place was kinda sketchy in that it was just over a bar and there were random older folks kickin around all the time... the location was nice, greenwich is a nice suburb of london, clean and close to the core... overall, i would stay here again.

Property Description

Greenwich is a UNESCO world heritage site, home to 0° longitude and Greenwich Mean Time. Only an 8 min train ride from London Bridge or a scenic 30 min boat ride from Westminster and Big Ben, Greenwich is truly a village within London.

By day take a stroll along cobbled streets to visit the many museums and the Observatory or walk through London's oldest Royal Park taking in the boating lake, deer sanctuary and stunning views of London from Greenwich hill as you go. There's also the Cutty Sark, the only remaining tea clipper (boat!) in the world featured on whiskey and rum labels everywhere and markets selling everything from clothes to antiques. Sound's relaxing doesn't it?! But by night, with 52 pubs and restaurants (including Dickens's favourite drinking spot) and 20,000 students, Greenwich comes alive with a young and cosmopolitan crowd.

Please note this hostel
does not have 24hr check-in if you are arriving later than 1130pm the hostel must know by 8pm the day of arrival. Call if you are to be late.

Greenwich is on both the Over Land Trains which starts from Charing Cross(for Trafalger square)/ Waterloo East(for Eurostar trains) or London Bridge it runs every 15-20min at peak hours and every 30min other times, altenitively the DLR-Docklands Light Railway runs about ever 10min to Canary Warf for Connection to the Jubilee Line.

FROM HEATHROW
Underground to Canon Street or London Bridge and then over ground train to Greenwich, the hostel is next to the station on the left.

FROM VICTORIA
(inc coach station) catch the circle and District line to Cannon street and the over ground train to Greenwich. Exit station. St Christopher's is located on the left hand side of the station fore court.

FROM GATWICK
Thameslink train into London Bridge and then connecting overground train to Greenwich. Exit station. St Christopher's is located on the left hand side of the station fore court.

FROM STANSTEAD
train to London Liverpool street, central line to Cannon street and and then overground train to Greenwich. Exit station. St Christopher's is located on the left hand side of the station fore court.

FROM WATERLOO
Jubilee line to London Bridge, overground train to GreenwichExit station. St Christopher's is located on the left hand side of the station fore court.


DOCKLANDS LIGHT RAILWAY
Catch the tube to Bank Station (Central Line)and hop on the Docklands light railway a few short stops to Greenwich and it drops you at our front door. Its also a great way to see many sights in London. Exit station. St Christopher's is located on the left hand side of the station fore court.
