  • St. Christopher's Village is one of the coolest hostels in London, located in the Southbank neighborhood. The interior is trendy, and the Christopher's signature Belushi bar is hopping. Internet access, security lockers, luggage storage, 24 hour reception, and a health spa are all part of the package. Breakfast included.

Property Description

Are you ready for non-stop, action packed good times? Then you've come to the right place. St. Christopher's Village is the party hostel for London's young, fun and hip. Belushi's bar is where it all happens ? live DJ's, karaoke, big screen TV's, cheap drinks, great eats, international parties and a 4am license ? what more could any traveller ask for. Throw into the mix a roof-top hot tub, and a bean bag adorned chill-out room you can't help but have a good time. Is it any wonder the Village is consistently voted one of the best party hostels in the world.

The best of all worlds is the beauty of Southwark's trio of St. Christopher's hostel locations. Quiet Orient Espresso, the ancient Inn and party central Village; has everything you could ever possibly need. Living in London' centre has you walking to the River Thames, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, the London Dungeon, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tate Modern Gallery and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. The kind of attractions that don't need introduction or explanation and the reasons that thousands of tourists come to London every year are all part of your new neighbourhood. There is also the Borough Market, a traditional fruit and vegetable market that also carries specialty food, seafood and organic/fair trade foods. The weekend crowds are more than enough reason to include this on your must sees of England's capital. Grab a latte at one of the cosy market side cafes and watch the world go by.

No matter which hostel you're checking into, reception is at the Village. This is the hub site of the street, with a brand new chill-out room with TV, playstation, internet, beanbags and comfy couches ? available to all staying at Southwark hostels.

"This 170 bed hostel is the flagship of an excellent hostel chain that has been making a name for itself over the past few years for its basic but cheap and clean accommodation, friendly service, and all around good times."
Lonely Planet London 2002

"With the management organising a different entertainment every night (karaoke, sight seeing walks, barbecues, movies and late licensed night club) and two sister establishments up the road (one pub, one internet cafe) all offering discounts on food and drink, hostellers have a ready-made social life within 100 yards."
