Baxpax downtown Hostel Hotel opened in April/May 2006.
We are located in a super central location behind the famous Friedrichstadtpalast.

The hostel is only 500 meters from the museums Island and just 100 meters to the nightlife-area Oranienburger Strasse and the Art-Forum Tacheles. You can reach the tourist-areas like the Brandenburg Gate and Potsdamer Platz within a short walk.

For all open-minded travellers and artists, the baxpax downtown hostel hotel is a mixture of top level service & the famous multi-cultural and cozy atmosphere! We are a meeting point and a completely new kind of hospitality in the heart of Berlin.

For all dorm beds (3, 4, 5, 8 and k-studio) there is an extra fee of 2,50 Euro for bed sheets for the first night.
Backi summer K-Studio 50 beds in two rooms with 8 showers and it's a great backpackers chilling meeting point.

Directions

From the Train station (Haupbahnhof - Lehrter Bahnhof):
Take all City Trains (S-Bahn) going eastbound for only 1 stop to Friedrichstraße. Take the Exit the same direction the train goes and turn left into Friedrichstraße, walk over the bridge and turn right into Ziegelstraße (before 'Friedrichstadtpalast' Theatre). Find us after 1 minute on the left.

From the Airport (Tegel):
Take the Bus 128 to Kurt-Schumacher-Platz, change to the Underground U6 (direction Alt-Mariendorf) to Friedrichstraße. Take the Exit the opposite direction train goes (already on Friedrichstraße), walk over the bridge and turn right into Ziegelstraße (before 'Friedrichstadtpalast' Theatre). Find us after 1 minute on the left.

From the Airport (Schönefeld):
Take the City Train (S-Bahn) S9 or Airport Express RE4 or RE5 to Friedrichstraße, exit opposite direction train goes and turn left into Friedrichstraße. Walk over the bridge and turn right into Ziegelstraße (before 'Friedrichstadtpalast' Theatre). Find us after 1 minute on the left.

From the Bus station (ZOB):
Take all City Trains (S-Bahn) going westbound, 1 stop to Westkreuz. Then take all City Trains (S-Bahn) going eastbound, to Friedrichstraße. Take the Exit the same direction the train goes and turn left into Friedrichstraße, walk over the bridge an turn right into Ziegelstraße (before 'Friedrichstadtpalast' Theatre). Find us after 1 minute on the left.
