• Located on Terez krt, near the Nyugati train station, Caterina Hostel is a humble little place offering guests access to all the tourist sights scattered along the Andrassy; the Opera House, the Puppet Theater, and the House of Terror, to name a few.
  
  The Caterina may be a hostel, but it's not a frat house party. Alcohol is permitted only on special occasions and bachelor and bachelorette parties are not welcome.
  
  The hostel occupies a place inside an enchanting, leafy courtyard. Rooms and bathrooms are spic-n-span. The kitchen has a retro 1950s feel to it, with bluish-green wooden cabinets and bright, white tiles.
  
  Breakfast consists of bread, jam, coffee, and tea. The breakfast area is also the common room, equipped with an Internet station and a bulletin board covered with flyers and posters.
  
  The nearby area is unexpectedly bright and clean for being in such a congested spot. It's also near the famous Művasz art cinema and a 10-minute walk from the hip Liszt restaurant scene.
  
  Note: Credit cards are accepted -- a perk that not many hostels in Pest would offer!

Caterina Hostel is a small friendly family hostel with privacy and a welcoming atmosphere. Renovations have just finished so this means the rooms, the beds, the showers, toilets and the kitchen are new, only our prices haven't changed!.

We are located in the traditional downtown of Budapest near popular 'Oktogon Square' and can offer you 1-6 bed separate rooms or 10-bed common dormitory rooms.

From the hostel to the West End, the Opera House, the city centre, the Danube, the café bars, and the restaurants is just a few minutes walk.
Accomodation will be provided for the customers who need private shower,kitchen and toilet in apartments.
We have a double bed room appartment maximum for 2 persons just a minute from the hostel and
5 minutes away from the hostel we provide an appartment with 5 beds .
At the appartments the breakfast is not included in the price!
