'Praça do Rossio ' is one of the most famous Plazas in all of Portugal as it is in Lisbon city center, therefore, you'll find it easy to get transportation from anywhere in the city.


- From Lisbon Airport

30 min. Bus 44; 45, and get off at Praca do Rossio - 1.30 ?

20 min. 'Aerobus' 91 and get off at Praca do Rossio- 3 ? (runs from 7:40a.m. to 8:45p.m.)

15 min. Taxi - 8/12 ? (depends on the hour and day of the week)

- From Santa Apolónia Train Station

Bus 9, 47, 746, or 759 and get off at Praça do Rossio-1.30 ?

- From Gare do Oriente Train Station

20 min by Bus get 44 or 45 and get off Praça do Rossio - 1.30 ?

20 min by Metro (underground) Take the Red line to Alameda, the last station. Then, change onto the Green line in the direction of Cais do Sodré, exiting at Rossio. Inside the metro station, follow the signs towards D. Pedro IV Rossio. After exiting the station, cross the main plaza with a large statue of a man and two fountains, then cross the street onto Calçada do Carmo. Find door number six on the right and go up to the second floor. The hostel is located on the right. Metro ticket - 0.75?

- From Sete Rios Train Station / Bus terminal

20 min by Metro (underground) Take the Blue line in the direction of Baixa-Chiado and get off at Baixa-Chiado, the last stop. From here, change onto the Green line in the direction of Telheiras, going one stop and exiting at Rossio. Inside the metro station, follow the signs towards D. Pedro IV Rossio. After exiting the station, cross the main plaza with a large statue of a man and two fountains, then cross the street onto Calçada do Carmo. - From Cais do Sodré

Take the Green line in the direction of Telheiras. Get off at Rossio station. Inside the metro station, follow the signs towards D. Pedro IV Rossio.
