  • I studied in Barcelona for 4 months and living in Melon District just about ruined my entire experience. The rooms are extremely small, it is like living in a jail cell, nothing ever works in the kitchen and the oven only goes to 200 degrees. The television in the cooking lounge does not have cable or a dvd player, the staff is incredibly rude and useless, your bathroom has a combined toilet and shower (the floor of the toilet is the same floor of the shower and it basically floods everywhere because the drains always get clogged), they do not provide you with any basic essentials but provide it in "packs" for ridiculously high prices. For sheets and a towel to use it is around 80 euro. To use the safe you have to pay over 30 euro a month. Everything is just a big rip-off. This is the worst place I have ever lived and I would never recommend it to anyone.

  • One of the best places that we stayed in Europe... Clean, friendly staff, very helpful! the only thing is that the bathroom is VERY small!
