Taking the Oslo ferry as inspiration, Cab Inn City actually feels more like a spiffy, new dormitory than a hotel. The three Cab Inns of Copenhagen, when they are not booked solid, offer consistent cleanliness and lots of amenities.
Opened in April 2005, the Cab Inn is the newest and largest Denmark-wide Cab property. Rooms come in singles, doubles, and triples, and are categorized into three classes: Standard, Commodore, and Captains Class. The Danish interest in design and architecture make the rooms seem like they came out of a dream university dorm. With fantastic lighting, rounded chairs, modern showerheads and faucets, the place gives off a luxurious vibe. Beds are twins, either freestanding or stacked in nautical style bunks.
The clientele can vary from business men to older couples and school groups. Bicycles can be rented at the front desk. During warmer days, many people gather in the outdoor patio for happy hour. And many of the Cab Inn City's rooms are specially designed to be wheelchair accessible. Good job, Copenhagen!
