I've stayed here several times and each time it's been great. The entire place is well run, clean, and popular. There are 6 floors of rooms that you can access with a key card. It's very secure as you can't access hallways without it. The most basic option is to sleep in a room with about 6-10 people (in bunk bends). Each person gets a small locker that you can lock with your keycard. The shower and bathrooms are located in your room and are very clean although you'll need to get soap and shampoo on your own. Towels are available for rent for 2 euros. When you first check in, you get a modest free drink to use at the bar on the top floor. Funky, colorful, modern lounge on the ground floor with free wifi if you have a laptop. Otherwise, you can rent one of the computers. The closest U-Bahn station is Rosa Luxembourg Strauss. It's a very central neighborhood located in modern Mitte section. If you want to eat breakfast, there's an all you can eat continental-breakfast option for 3.50 Euros.
