The VIP Suites do Marques, just a bit east of Praca Marques de Pombal, gives just what its name implies. Suites, suites and more suites.
Although they're not the most exhilarating rooms on this side of the Tejo, they're very spacious and clean with a simple '90s decor. All 84 rooms include a sitting area with a couch. Large windows make them feel open and airy. Half of the rooms have two twin beds and the other half have king-sized beds. All come equipped with a kitchenette, including a stove top, sink, and dining paraphernalia.
Because a lot of Marques's visitors are business travelers, its restaurant also serves three meals a day.
The rooftop deck is really what all the buzz is about though. Aside from the amazing views of the city, river, and bridge, there's also a pool up there! Dive in.
