  • The Danhostel Copenhagen City is a clean hostel that maintains a hotel-vibe. With over 1000 beds, Danhostel also offers internet access, laundry machines, bike rental, and a guest kitchen. Guests will receive key cards for their rooms, and the reception desk is open 24-hours. Check out the Danhostel's bar/restaurant if you're looking for food, drinks, and friends. No curfew.

  • it was clean, new, and nicely furnished
    the kitchen was well equipped
    I liked the eating and drinking areas
    the room almost looked like a hotel room
    the food was a bit too expensive
    since nobody really controlled whether people were using bedlinen, most of my roommates didn't --> the idea of the person having used the blanket before my not having used bedlinen isn't too pleasant, even if I did use bedlinen, so maybe there should be some control mechanism to ensure that everybody either brings bedlinen or rents it!

The new five-star Danhostel is at Langebro on H.C. Andersens Boulevard, and is already a landmark for entry to the City of Copenhagen.

Apart from the building's exceptionally fine view over the city's roofs, the Opera house and Islands Brygge, it is centrally located within walking distance of the city hall square, the Tivoli, the main railway station and the pulsating life in the centre of the city.

With 1,020 beds Danhostel Copenhagen City is Europe´s biggest city hostel. Make use of our internet café our hang out in our funky lounge room with TV or or brand new cafe, bar and restaurant with authentical italian cuisine.. We are looking forward to welcoming our guests at DANHOSTEL Copenhagen City.

Please note: if you are not a Member of Hostelling International there is an extra charge of 35DKK per person per day! Bed linen is not included in the price. You have to either bring your own bed linen or rent it for DKK 60,- pr person. Check-in is between 2 pm and 5 pm. If you arrive later than 6 pm, then contact the hostel and let them know an arrival time, so they can hold your reservation.
