The 102-room Ethic Etapes may be a little outside the hustle and bustle of Paris's city center, but the rooms are huge and all have AC, toilet, shower, telephone, and satellite TV! The neighborhood is quiet as a mouse, and you are within walking distance of the Pere Lachaise cemetery. None of the rooms have more than four beds, so you won't be crammed into a huge dorm with thirty backpackers and their smelly socks. You may want to brush up on your French before booking a room, because at the Ethic Etapes not all the staff are fluent in English.
