  • It's hard to stay hip and modern these days, but Dioskouros's art deco-influenced railings, doors, and ample greenery welcome those of us who are. It's a step up from the average backpacker crowd one would expect in a hostel, but there is one dormitory room on the hotel property.

Aside from the entryway, the 17 rooms of the Dioskouros make you feel more like you're in a palatial, retro house than an actual hotel. Rooms have all sorts of charming embellishments like simple blue window trims and interesting furniture combos.
You do share the bathroom, but all the rooms have their own sinks.

For the families and larger groups, Dioskouros offers a large basement suite with bunk beds and conventional beds. If you're planning on having an extended stay, Dioskouros offers rooms on a very reasonably priced-monthly basis.

The hotel is close to many touristy thoroughfares, the Acropolis, but benefits from being on a sleepy corner of Plaska providing one with tranquility, if you so wish. Chatty Cathy's and the like will dig the Dioskouros' friendly vibe and large back garden where new friends are always made.

  • Very much a young, English-speaking clientele. Everyone is friendly and the people at the front desk are extremely helpful. They will guide you to amenities, sites, anything!

The dorm room is clean. The breakfast is Spartan but fresh.
