Located just outside the Red Light District in Plantagebuurt (great location on the water), rooms at the Beagle Houseboat sleep four comfortably. Once you get over the lackluster exterior, this place will grow on you. The captain loves to play Reggae music and smoking is permitted (you get the idea). Free Internet is also available.

This houseboat is simply amazing. AJ (the owner) is kind, helpful. There are two computers with free internet, a warm shower, comfy beds, and your own kitchen! The views are amazing. MOST important is that the living space (with couches, blankets, benches, etc) is SO inviting and wonderful. It is a perfect place to relax, expand your mind, get to know your friends, get to know yourself-- you get it. A safe, cool spot in Amsterdam that you can get all to yourself. Great central locationt too! Don't forget to take pictures on the roof.
