Located in Cannareggio within a few minutes’ walk of the Santa Lucia train station, San Geremia Rooms is a traditional, family-run place offering dorms and larger, private suites out of two buildings dating to the 1800s. If you’re a fan of staying in a more homey environment for less, this place is for you.
Dorms have a 90s feel to them, with bunk beds and minimal furniture. Linens and lockers (or wardrobes) are included. Private rooms are decorated in a more classic style (think cooler colors, red bedspreads and warm-wood furnishings) and include towels. All rooms have an en suite bathroom and a few rooms offer a view of the Campo.
There’s free Wi-Fi throughout the buildings. Please note that San Geremia has a nightly curfew (1 a.m.).

About the San Geremia Rooms neighborhood
Located on the north side of Venice, Cannaregio is home to many of the city’s best cheap sleeps. The hood also hosts the former Jewish Ghetto and the strikingly ornate Ca d’ Oro palace. Cannaregio is bordered by the train station and the Rialto Bridge.
