Located on a quiet corner near Santa Maria Novella not far from the Arno River, the Ferretti has a fun, feel-good vibe to it.
The third and fourth floor rooms are a commotion of animal print, while the mid-size rooms on the second floor are decorated in contrasting fresh sea-foam green with bright white bedspreads and large, all-new bathrooms. But it is upstairs where your heart will be stolen. Here, large rooms sport original, colorful, brightly tiled floors. Black wrought-iron bed frames are topped in fabulously eclectic leopard- and tiger-striped covers.
Humorously enough, the building was once a 16th century convent. What would the sisters say today?
With something for all tastes, from the fun to the classic to the rigid, the Ferretti is a truly welcoming pension.
