"Super cozy, great location - a real gem!"

Less than a three-minute walk from the central SMN train station and the San Lorenzo market, and a few minutes walking to most of the major sites of downtown Florence, the International Student House is unbeatable for convenient location. The staff is friendly, helpful, and fluent in English, Spanish, and, of course, Italian.

We know its name makes it sound like a massive student dorm, but in reality it is a small, cozy boarding house owned by a very charming and hospitable couple. They offer private singles, doubles, and triples, along with six-bed ensuite mixed dorms. All rooms are spacious and attractive: if you're expecting it to look like a hostel, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

The staff was very helpful, though they weren't around mcuh. The rooms were really nice and the location is fantastic. We loved our stay here and have no complaints.
