The Youth Hostel Firenze 2000 is located across the river from the tourist crowds of central Florence, near the historic and picturesque areas of San Frediano and Santo Spirito (a fifteen-minute bus ride from the SMN train station). Guests can stroll across the Ponte Vecchio to central Florence in twenty minutes.

The Firenze 2000, despite its energetic name, is a peaceful, cozy, and friendly place that doesn't allow alcohol (which ensures utmost quiet for guests). However, there is no curfew, and each guest is provided with their own key card to allow them to come and go whenever they wish. Offering clean, private rooms with between one and five beds, the YHF 2000 aims to please—and succeeds.
